Details

cleverly collected.

A charming ceramic fox keeps watch atop this small vintage ceramic trinket box. Finished in warm russet, mossy green, cream, and brown, the piece has an all-over crackle glaze that gives it the character of an object that's been collected rather than simply decorated.

Small enough for a bedside table, desk, or bookshelf, the lidded box is just right for rings, keepsakes, or the little things that never seem to have a proper place.
Condition

Good vintage condition with decorative crazing typical of similar pieces
Field notes

One part useful object, another part decorative- the type of object that adds a bit on interest and whimsy to any room.
